The SUHI Foundation, Inc. is pledging scholarship funds annually to qualifying students of Sweetwater High School. Our organization is staffed mostly by volunteers* so nearly 100% of your contribution will go directly to scholarships and programs. You can designate your donation to one or more of the following list of scholarship funds by clicking on the donate button next to the fund. If you wish to make a general donation, please click on the Primary Fund donation button.


The SUHI Foundation Primary Fund – The primary fund of the SUHI Foundation awards annual 4-year scholarships and provides funding for special projects. General donations to support Sweetwater High School administration, faculty and students should be made to the Primary Fund.


Alan Dodson Memorial Scholarship SUHI Class of ‘68 – This scholarship is in memory of fellow classmate Alan Dodson. A 4-year scholarship is awarded in the amount of $3,000 per year.


The Class of ‘64 Scholarship – The Class of ‘64 awards a 4-year scholarship in the amount of $3,000 per year.


The Class of ‘76 Scholarship The Class of ‘76 Scholarship awards a 1-year scholarship in the amount of $1000 per year.


The “Mr./Miss Sweetwater” Ken Aramburo Memorial Scholarship – The “Mr./Miss Sweetwater” Scholarship awards a 1-year scholarship in the amount of $1000 per year.


Project Letterman – Through a rigorous application process, Project Letterman awards letterman jackets to deserving student athletes who have earned a Varsity letter in a sport. A donation of $300 covers the cost of one jacket award. The goal is to award at least 25 jackets each year.


Recurring Donations – Want to make an on-going donation to The SUHI Foundation without the hassle of having to write a check or make a payment each month?  Contact Us to establish a monthly donation for one year.  You may chose the Fund of your choice.  Your sustaining contribution is greatly appreciated!

*The salary and other costs associated with our single employee are currently covered by a generous donation which established a fund for administrative expenses.
